LED recessed lights are a modern alternative to traditional lighting sources. The housing of recessed lighting fixtures is completely or partially hidden under the surface of the ceiling, wall, floor or piece of furniture.
LED recessed lights are widely used to illuminate residential interiors, office and administrative facilities, commercial and entertainment and industrial buildings, utility and warehouse premises. LED fixtures of this type are used to create uniform general or decorative localized lighting.
By design features, recessed lights can be divided into panel and spot.
LED panel recessed lights
Panel recessed lights create direct or diffused lighting directed from top to bottom. For uniform lighting, not one, but several lighting fixtures are installed.
LED panels are rarely used in residential interiors, while lighting structures are successfully used in office and administrative premises, shopping centers and stores, entertainment complexes, train station buildings, and production workshops.
LED recessed spotlights
Recessed spotlights provide clear directional light. Typically, spotlights are used in groups or as an additional light source.
Recessed spotlights are designed for general or decorative localized lighting of rooms.
There are the following types of recessed spotlights:
Non-rotating spotlights illuminate a certain part of the room without the ability to adjust the direction of the light flux.
Rotating spotlights provide directional lighting. These lighting fixtures allow you to adjust the flow of light, directing it in the desired direction.
Rotating-retractable. Such luminaires allow you to change the lighting zones of any area of the room at the discretion of the owner. The rotary mechanism allows you to slide the light source unit out of the built-in housing, fixing it in any desired intermediate position.
Cardanic LED lamps are distinguished by their advanced capabilities for adjusting the light intensity and direction of the light flux. The design of the lighting devices provides for several LED lamps in one housing at once. Using lamps of different power and color, you can achieve interesting lighting effects.
Downlight
"Down light" literally translates from English as "light going down". This term is used to refer to a group of lighting devices in which the light flux is directed from top to bottom, which allows it not to be scattered in the illuminated area. A distinctive feature of these lamps is the spectrum of the light flux, which is not scattered, but directed at a specific object.
Spot
Spots include lamps that give narrowly directed light and are equipped with a rotary mechanism. By adjusting the direction of the light flux, they can illuminate a specific object or a specific area of the room. Single-lamp spots are used for decorative lighting. Two- or three-lamp fixtures are used to illuminate a specific area.
LED fixtures are the most innovative type of lighting devices, which are distinguished by high quality lighting, reliable operation and economy. Having decided to purchase LED fixtures, preference should be given to products of well-known brands and manufacturers who have proven themselves in the lighting market.
